The regular meeting of the Town of Pines Town Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Cathi Murray led us in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. In attendance were: Cathi Murray, Vicki Kuzio, George Adey, Sandra Hall and Dan Fries.
Vicki made a motion to accept November’s minutes and George seconded the motion and the motion was voted on and passed 3-0.

5 permits were issued this month. Alan met with John Doyle per the Town Council’s request to survey the Town’s property for the new Town Hall. Pumps on 12 was broken into and the Town Council asked that Alan send the owner which is PNC Bank a letter that they must board up the broken windows or we will and then fine them. Sent Mr. Dobkins a letter to appear at this meeting, but he did not respond. We will revisit this issue in January to make a decision as to whether or not it is time to level fines.
Leaves are done. Dan will order salt. The salt will be about $87.00 per ton. We hired Brian Lee to help with plowing. Railroad Ave.’s culvert has broken and will need to be replaced when the weather is warmer.
Bob Gerometta presented images of what the new Town Hall will look like and a contract to be signed. George made a motion that after the lawyers look at the contract and if all is okay then Cathi can sign the Contract. Vicki seconded the motion and the motion was voted on and passed 3-0.
George called the Porter County Sheriff’s department about a semi-trailer parked at the Birch Street Park . The officer said that they could not do anything because we do not have a “No Overnight” parking sign posted at the park.
The end of the year meeting will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010.
George made a motion to pay the claims and Vicki seconded the motion and the motion was voted on and passed 3-0.
As there was no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
